Superhero Series 2020 – At Home Superheros

The Superhero Series is the UK’s only mass participation sports series dedicated to the ‘Everyday Superhero’ – the nation’s 13.3 million people living with disabilities.

Anyone with a disability, be it physical, intellectual, sensory or invisible, can enter and any gadgets and gizmos are welcome, with the real aim to have as much fun as possible.

The ethos of the event echoes perfectly with the culture we have at Foster Denovo, and we are delighted to be a sponsor.

In light of the current coronavirus restrictions and Government guidelines, this year’s event replaces the one-day Superhero Tri event ordinarily held in the summer. At Home Superheroes can be completed anywhere (living room, garden, neighbourhood) in any way you wish (walking, running, pushing, wheeling). Participants can join the challenge solo, unite as a team with their household, or remotely via an app.

The challenge can be completed any time between 15th June and 15th July. A distance of 20km has been suggested, however participants can choose a shorter or longer goal, depending on their own individual circumstances.
