My profile

“Making finance work for you, for life.”

With over 30 years’ experience in financial planning, I am dedicated to providing a personal service that evolves with my clients’ needs throughout their life journeys. My mission is to deliver tailored financial solutions that bring peace of mind to my clients and helps them to achieve their long-term financial goals.

Areas of advice:

I focus on getting to know my clients so that I can provide the best possible financial solutions. I predominantly work in-person with my clients as I believe this helps me build stronger relationships and a better understanding of the person and their situation. It also enables me to offer continuous support and peace of mind.

I specialise in crafting holistic financial strategies that not only meet but also protect my clients’ objectives. I carefully review my clients’ finances to find any risks and suggest ways to fix them. My goal is to take away their financial worries so they can enjoy life and reach financial freedom.

Chartered Financial Planner

My career as a financial adviser spans over three decades. I began at Lloyds Bank, later transitioning to an Independent Financial Adviser role in the Isle of Man, where I provided guidance to both local residents and expatriates. After seven years there, I spent 21 years with a Newcastle-based firm before joining Foster Denovo in 2023. My extensive experience has equipped me with the expertise to guide clients through various financial milestones with confidence and clarity.

Outside of work, I cherish time with my family, including my wife Linda and our two teenage children, Thomas and Harry. I enjoy walking and have a broad interest in sports.

My wife Linda is a key member of my office team, supporting the business and our clients with dedication and efficiency since our children started school. I am now also fortunate to have the wider Foster Denovo team, both of which help to make sure that our clients receive the best possible service.

The value of your investment can go down as well as up, and you may not get back the full amount invested.

A pension is a long-term investment. The fund value may fluctuate and can go down, which would impact the level of pension benefits available. Pension income could also be affected by interest rates at the time benefits are taken.
