FD appoints new Head of Strategic Partnerships
5.07.2015The national firm of financial advisers has appointed Nick Goddard into the new role of Head of Strategic Partnerships as it looks towards further growth.
The position has been created to develop both existing and new key corporate partnership relationships. It will also encompass new business development – working with organisations that have clients with financial advice requirements.
Goddard has over 30 years’ experience in banking and financial services. He was previously the head of advice and protection development for the private banking and advice division of RBS and NatWest. Most recently, he was a project lead for the new challenger bank, Williams & Glyn, supporting the development of future propositions.
Helen Lovett, Chief Operating Officer at Foster Denovo, said: “We are delighted that Nick has decided to join the business. He further strengthens the leadership team and gives us greater breadth in terms of business development – given his background and experience. He is already gaining real traction.
‘Following on from the pension reforms, providers and other large organisations are thinking about how they look after their customers that need advice,’ she said.
‘Many of them will opt for partnerships with established and quality brands, as we are already witnessing.’
Foster Denovo also revealed that it made a pre-tax profit of £1.6 million for the year ending 31 December 2014, compared to a £210,000 profit in 2013.
