Secondsight appoints Morag Livingstone to Head of Group Risk and Wellbeing
14.05.2017Our Employee Benefits brand, Secondsight, is delighted to announce that Morag Livingstone has been promoted to the new role of Head of Group Risk and Wellbeing. Prior to the promotion Morag held the position of Group Risk and Healthcare Manager within Secondsight for four years.
Morag has over 20 years’ experience working in the financial services sector, many in a number of large consultancies.
In her new role, Morag is responsible for leading and developing Secondsight’s wellbeing proposition, as well as supporting partners, clients and strategic partnerships with her technical knowledge, skills and passion for all aspects of wellbeing.
Morag comments, “Wellbeing has risen up the agenda for many employers, with increasing numbers of companies now interested in exploring the options they should consider implementing as a responsible employer. I see our role as thought leaders and one where we can add value and provide our clients with access to the latest thinking, news and resources.”
“It is important for workplace benefits to evolve and come into line with modern trends. And implementing a wellbeing strategy could be cost neutral; by simply adopting an early intervention approach could, potentially, cut the cost of absence – bringing savings to any business.”
Ian Bird, Head of Secondsight, adds, “We’re delighted to promote Morag into this new position – she is a true professional, with a great deal of experience. She has lots of ideas and is already working tirelessly to drive our wellbeing initiative forward.”
